More confusion about Cordain's ratios:

>   Paleolithic: fat-22% protein-37% carbohydrate-41%

And

>                         % Plant         % Animal
> Median                  16-25%          76-85%

Don't really seem to add up. Are there some "high
carbohydrate" animals I don't know about? Either that,
or the plant foods must all be high sugar fruits?

Based on 3000 calories, the ratios broken down
according to the F-P-C % would be 660, 1110, 1230
respectively. Using (the original article's) 65%
animal, 35% plant = 1950 + 1050. Using 75% animal, 25%
plant = 2250 + 750. Using 85% animal, 15% plant = 2550
+ 450. I don't see how any of these, with *perhaps*
the exception of the 65/35 ratio, can possibly come
close to 1230 carb calories. Especially if any kind of
nut is included among the plant foods.

Can organ meats supply *that* much carbohydrate?

Can anyone clear this up for me?
