I read in *Newsweek* that came today an article on bariatric surgery that
says the human stomach is about the size of three clenched fists. Since I
only have two <g>, I kept trying to envision capacity and meal portion sizes
that would fill (but not over-fill and create a gluttonous distended
feeling). --This in light of the 80% Okinawan precept.

Every dog I've ever owned has grazed small amounts of grass at times. Years
ago, one of my Dobes regularly went blackberry picking with me. Zeke would
pull his lips back to avoid the thorn-spiked brambles and gently pick berry
after berry with his front teeth. And we had a cat that just loved the
ground grain we gave the chickens (that actually were free-roaming birds and
only penned at night). He would follow me out to the trough to get his fill
before the birds could get there. He was the silliest looking thing with
tiny bits of grain rimming his moist lips. He also loved to snatch a baby
chick now and then. Bad cat. <g> He lived to be 16. LOL....maybe the
grain wasn't so good for him after all. His mother outlived him by almost 2
years.
