<All the people mentioned in the article, could - if they wanted to -
get together and start a corporation that makes and sells paleo foods.
There is absolutely nothing about corporate structure that prevents
the sale of paleo foods.>

i am amazed at the naivety of that comment .you didn't understand , they
question the corporate structure itself to be able provide quality service
to society as a whole .
Corporations, to survive the competition , have to become bigger and
bigger scale ,they set up the standards for the whole industry , that is to
produce the most quantity with the least financial cost ( even at the cost
of essential human values).this trend of industrialisation of food
production is completelly incompatible with paleo foods . it is an
historical fact .
that can be done only by borrowing from the natural capital of the past and
future ( stored fertility of the soil , species extinction , biomass
reduction ....) instead of living only from the income generated by the
solar surplus .

there is something inherently problematic in the corporate structure . it is
legally a person with a limited liability. no individual will be allowed to
do what a corporation can do . the movie demonstrate to us that the
personality of this person is a psychopate ( but in truth there is nobody to
hold accountable ).

<So, there is nothing about a general attack on corporations that is
relevant to the Paleo Diet.>

to be more specific i can talk about the taking over of organic foods by
corporations ( like Dole selling organic bananas) and the degradation of
the quality standards that small scale pionners in organic farming have set
up .
or i can talk about fish farming that some here are ready to consider
paleo. http://www.farmedanddangerous.org
or i can talk about the disparitions of breed diversity as a consequence of
the few corporations taking over the seed supply and animal genetic ( only
corporations are patenting life )
or i can talk about the pressure of corporations done on governments to
eliminate local production of meats and eggs by setting up new regulations
( rendering illegal the farm gate sales)

would it be on topic .?

there is small scale production of foods by individuals or small group that
allow the production of paleofoods and there is corporations that sell junk
.

if you believe that paleo foods can be produced by industrials we don't have
the same criteria of what a paleofood is .

ray's definition don't include the use of technology over than a stick .
corporate production of foods include lot of tractors, trucks and oil, lot
of oil to produce and distribute ,lot of technology is used to convince
customers to buy their crap and soon to become mainstay in the corporate
production of foods , genetic alteration of species and it is not finished
( like the idea of genetically incorporate drugs in foods.....)

we definivetelly don't live in the same world .
