Although I try to eat primarily organic beef, chicken and lamb, I realize
these meats are not from grass fed animals. (I do find grass-fed lamb quite
often.) Because the animals have been fattened on grains, I suspect that
their fatty acid profiles are too rich in Omega-6 fatty acids. I am
wondering what ramifications, if any, there would be to eating a paleo diet
that consisted almost exclusively of fish (emphasis on salmon, sardines and
other Omega-3 rich fish) with only occasional poultry and meat and eggs. I
am interested in seeing what would happen if I drastically increased the
Omega 3 fatty acids in my diet. Thoughts?
