Hi Sheryl and Mary,

Actually, I used to be very athletic and active, then thyroid problems
took over, *Graves Disease* and i swelled up to 236 lbs in 6 months.
After Atkins, then paloe, I lost some of it. Then I started Phil
Thrift's paleo bodybuilder diet and the rest fell off. *of course i also
had my thyroid fixed.* I am now officially back to my pre-sickness
weight and feel pretty darn good. I had weight lifted in the past, but
am more into it now than before. My measurements are bust: 37" waist 29"
hips 38 1/2". I still have thyroid symptoms and must watch my thyroid
meds very carefully. I watch what I eat every day for now I am diabetic.
*thyroid and diabetes run side by side* I don't use any meds for
diabetes, I refuse to take them. I just watch my diet instead and test my
blood twice a day. I work out 3 times a week for 30 minutes. I coach
soccer twice a week and I ref soccer on Saturdays. I have 3 teenagers
and I will be 41 next month. I spent 6 years of my life trying to find
out what was wrong with me, my weight gain, and other symptoms from
Graves Disease. Last May i found a great Endocrinologist who treated me
for high risk Graves and he saved my life, literally. I am in the healing
process and hope to be in remission by May of next year. Sorry,
probably more info then anyone could ever want. LOL
