Hey, did anyone else notice that the Feb. 2000 issue of Let's Live Magazine
had a cover story on Robert Atkins?  The editor's page had some good works
on his work also.  She mentioned that his teachings call into question the
political agendas and conventional thinking about diet.  This is a big step
in the right direction, although Atkins did not draw on anthropological info
to back his diet.... maybe he was just tired of fighting some of the myths
about low-carb diets.

Anyway, if you can get your hands on a copy of this article, you might want
to read it and the editorial page.  Atkins has been advertising heavily in
this magazine, Delicious and several other publications.
