I remember seeing a film like this a few years ago.
Seems like it was a Disney documentary (it "felt" like
one, anyway). As I recall, the film followed the
progress of a small group of wolves through the year;
what they ate, how they acted. During the "lean" part
of the year the wolves were very creative in finding
just about anything to eat - mice, some insects, even
some plant foods (berries, I think). The "star" of the
film would eat something like 30-40 whole mice in one
day. When they found larger prey they "feasted" like
you wouldn't believe.

If anyone else remembers this film let me know what it
was called. I'd like to see it again.
