Somebody on lowcarb got in touch with the author and asked about
this. Apparently previous studies had been done using just beef
tallow or just soybean oil, and results were comparable, with the
effects of beef tallow being just a bit worse. This is why in
the recent study, which was to confirm the earlier results, they
didn't separate those variables. They had already been shown not
to make a difference.
