They were smart people.  We are very myopic about all this. We think we are
so clever, with all our scieince and technology, but we would'nt have a clue
if we were put in their environment. This is why we have these endless
speculative discussions about what Paleo people would have eaten, because we
simply cannot imagine their way of life. We are completely unable to put
ourselves in their shoes (moccassins, bare feet..) They might as well be
aliens from another planet.
