Brad, Fill a 2.3 liter jug with water (10 cups), chill overnight if you like
cold water. Pack the water bottle and commit to drinking it before the day
is over! Also, imagine what the soda is doing to your insides---corroding
your teeth, stomach, bones. Water, in contrast, will hydrate your tissues,
carry nutrients to cells and help carry wastes away. It will lubricate and
cushion your joints, aid in digestion, elimination, and the functioning off
all of your organs (brain included). Many health problems can be signs of
chronic dehydration. Check out the book, Your Bodies Many Cries For Wter by
Dr. Batmangelidj if you want to back this up.

If you are chronically dehydrated, your thirst mechanism may shut down. As
you drink more water, you will have a thirst for water more, your taste buds
will reawaken, and water will taste good to you. Also, if you have been
drinking soda, your taste for water is likely low. Drinking more water can
change your tastes and habits and make it easier for to reach your goals.

Filtered water is preferable to tap---for reasons of taste and health.
Chlorine gives an off taste and is a poison. Other contaminants (2100
identified in U.S. drinking water) tap water can put your at risk,
unnecessarily, for other problems paleo man didn't have to deal with!

E-mail me privately if you want to read some published articles on the topic
of drinking water contamination and filtration. I can send articles and
links.
