I hope you didn't think I was suggesting that a little bit of bread
or the odd cookie is acceptable- I was paraphrasing what everyone on
a fad diet say.  "A little bit of what you like is good for you" is a
similar one.  Personally, I think that unless you're starving
(literally about to die of the lack of food), a little bit is still
very bad indeed.
