Hello Mary.
You sent me a strange message the other day. Although it was addressed to
David, I think you might have got your David's mixed up ! Anyway - moving
on - I would still like to know what ketostix is, and why is it important
to be in ketosis ? Also, what is this Pemmican stuff?

We have had to put our paleo diet trial on hold, as last week when we tried
to cut out carbs and give Ralph mainly fatty meat ( which he didn't seem to
want ) he lost over four pounds in weight ! Quite by chance we were looking
through some notes we made last year when we had Ralph's blood analysed in
the US for Patricia Kane ( of fatty acid fame ) and the analysis noted that
Ralph was unable to absorb fats. It looks like we had been starving the poor
boy ! We are pretty sure that he has problems with some foods, so we shall
be starting a rotation diet to try to highlight were the problems are. A bit
of a "rock and a hard place" really, he isn't able to digest/absorb fats, so
he has to eat protein and carbs, yeast feeds on carbs etc. We shall have to
target his digestive system first I think, before we can make any headway
with his yeast problem.
Thats all for now. David.
