Nope.  There are lots of things I haven't tried in life, because I  
wouldn't expect them to work.  This falls in that category.  (I mean,  
really -- if someone you loved were diagnosed with cancer, would you be  
satisfied if the doctor recommended they just go home and think about it?)

That's just one of the things listed on Dr Bernarr's web site.  There are  
several others there.  But the best one yet is that not only can you cure  
everything, you can live forever!  (I'm not making it up -- see  
http://www.geocities.com/pathways2eden/health/healself.html for the  
article.)
