But cro-magnons were very large people. Naturally they will have larger
heads too. Most ancient peoples were smaller bodied than the cro-magnon, and
had smaller heads too. Measure the head of the typical six foot six inch
footballer, and I suspect you will find a head as big as any cro-magnon.

On the other hand, consider the tiny populations of the cro-magnon, and the
genius-level art they created. Quite possible they were more talented than
moderns.
