I think some people react this way and some get more sensitive. I
have trouble with grains, too, but the place I saw the same thing you
experienced is with alcohol. I used to drink regularly - not a lot
but on a regular basis - and began to have colitis from it (which
the M.D, did not discover but I suspected.) When I quit all alcohol
the colitis totally went away, much to the M.D's surprise.Then I
began to have the occasional drink with no problem. And now I can
drink every night on vacation and occasionally during the year with
no problem at all. I think I became less sensitive to it by doing it
so rarely. So maybe it's that way with you and grains. Frances
