I don't see a contradiction.
Cordain predicts healthful effects if high amounts of animal protein.

35% is very high, as the protein ceiling tells us.

The high amounts of saturated fats (in percent) of common (farmed)
animal sources that "causes the problem" is annother, different problem
to arise.
