Bad example.

It turns out that snake oil is very high in Omega 3 fatty acids, probably one of
the most significant nutrients missing in a Modern diet.

There is an interesting section in Udo Erasmus' book on why the medical
establishment felt it necessary to make snake oil into something synonymous with
"doesn't work" (despite the fact that - or more likely - specifically because it
does work, as demonstrated by recent research on its current equivalent "fish
oil").
