Debra Kierstead asked:

 >About how long should it take to render the suet on the stovetop?

Depends on how much water you add to start. I once added way too much and I
ended up rendering for a couple days. Also how small you chopped up the
suet. And whether you stuck a hand blender in. And whether you did a
straining in the middle and rendered again.

Yes. No more steam bubbles. If you're not sure, then heat it up and render
again.

Don.
