From what I know, this is not at all true.  There is no "defect" necessary to
get infected by viruses.   I think you should spend some time using a search
engine to look at the MANY sites available to explain viruses and worms, etc.
so you won't have to ask people whose motives are really clear here ... there
is no "quality" issue involved that I have ever heard of!
