You may be moving into a pre-menopause pattern. I'm well past that now
but heavy bleeding is certainly a pre-cursor to the final stage. Check
with your doctor if the bleeding continues. I became anemic for a short
time before things settled out. This is not a short process. Your
hormone balance can see-saw for several years or suddenly level out only
to begin again. Start collecting information on the pros and cons of
estrogen replacement therapy NOW while you have time to consider all the
options.
