Richard,

I feel healthy. Blood pressure was fine. The only "weird" symptoms
I've
exprienced are that I am heat intolerant (feel way too hot when
everyone
around me is freezing) and have noticed some hair loss. I attributed
the
hair loss to the rather rapid weightloss I've experienced on this way
of
eating but the dr. checked my thyroid which he said appears normal:

TSH: 1.53 ("Normal" Range: .40-5.50)
T4, Total: 8.8 ("Normal" Range: 4.5-12.0)
T3, Total: 107 ("Normal" Range: 80-190)

I recently heard Dr. Atkins once say on the radio that a high HDL
w/High LDL
in connection with a protein based, low-carb diet could mean thyroid
activity
is dropping which is common during weight loss-- but that doesn't seem
to be
the case. Thoughts??
