Does anyone know whether there is much threat in the city of chemicals
making home-grown food unhealthy? The reason I ask is that I knew a home
builder that used commercial pesticide around the foundation of his new
homes that would kill bugs for years, and I wonder if it seeps out into
the rest of the yard. Also, I am not sure if it is common to use other
chemicals, perhaps to pre-treat yards with the thought that they are only
for appearance and not for food vegetation.
