If the retreat is just 3 days I would not worry about
it. Skipping meat/protein for a few days WILL NOT lead
to a protein deficiency. Your body can and will adjust
to changes like this the same way our ancestors
adjusted to daily/weekly/seasonal variations in their
diets. And you will get some protein from veggie
sources.

You can still "carb up" - just use paleo carbs like
fruits and starchier veggies. As far as nuts - I think
they should be somewhat limited in the diet, even
though they do have "good" fats in them.
