Hi Everyone,

All I know about lectins is the following:

Lectins have high concentrations in beans, (as well as potato, banana,
apple avocado, tomato, wheat, corn, carrot, lettuce, peanut and canola
(rapeseed))
Lectins can produce symptoms such as failure to grow, cancer and even death
to those susceptible. Those intolerant to gluten (celiacs) are often
intolerant to lectins.

Can anyone expand on the topic of lectins? (If this looks redundant, I
posted to the evolutionary list as well.)

All the best,
Susan
