From what I remember reading about marijuana, yes we do have "cannabinoid" receptors in the brain. Since we have these receptors, that means that our bodies produce cannabinoids. Marijuana itself has a hundred different cannabinoids, and some of them are able to fit into our receptors. But that doesn't mean marijuana "evolved" with us. I guess I could see Paleo man occasionally smoking marijuana, but not on a regular basis. The lack of motivation that results from too much grass smoking would not be a plus when he had to go hunt.
