Has anyone actually gained weight from eating 5000 to 7000 calories following
Neanderthin? I ate as much as I could through December and gained some
poundage. Was this not long enough? Any type II diabetics on this diet who
were taking insulin who are not now? On the Atkin's/PP plan I am definitely
in need of insulin i.e. very tight control of sugars through diet. The
introduction of fruit worries me. When trying this diet for a month I did not
eat fruit and very little veggies. I have lost over 65 pounds and have approx
65 more to go. Also, I was in Ketosis the entire time also and yes I drank my
gallon of water. The quantity of food for Neanderthin appeals to me and am
hoping I can follow it successfully. Any thoughts??
