This might be somewhat OT, but I was wondering whether any of you know of
any MD's out there with successful medical practices based on paleo diet
principles, or if not paleo, next best would be Atkins or other low-carb.
Someone near and dear is currently working out how to set up a medical
practice, having finished medical school, residency, and boards for family
practice, and is seeking advice. A related question is, does anyone have
anything positive or negative to relate about Jeffrey S. Bland, Metagenics,
and Functional Medicine. I'm rather suspect, to say the least, of a company
that would sell an artificial diet meant to treat metabolic syndrome that is
based on soy protein and fructose!
