I have read that rice like basmati has a lower glycemic index, supposed to
not cause a big insulin release... it is different from your standard long
grain rice..different enzymes in it I think.

The people that have started adding rice to their meals...are they just
eating meat and veg with the rice...basically paleo with rice? And how much
rice per meal?  Interesting.
