Below is a link to a recent article that discussed the results of groups
put on 4 regimes: Atkins, Zone , Ornish and Weightwatchers.  While none of
the diets are paleo per se, the Zone diet comes pretty close to Cordain's
version of the Paleo Diet in that lean meats are recommended and fruits and
veggies are more desirable carb choices than grains, legumes.  The article
claims that Ornish's plan (high starch, very low fat, very low protein)
lowered insulin levels better than the other plans -- any thoughts on how a
high grain/carb plan could lower insulin levels??
