Get some other browser than any microsoft product. That is
the simple solution. Even better is to get rid of all
microsoft products if possible, as they have a great many
weaknesses built in, some appparently deliberately.

Cross your fingers, I have ben using a Mac with Netscape the
last few years and have never had a virus the whole time.
This is normal for non-microsoft users, of whatever platform.
