I don't know if this is true or not, but I was told by a friend has
raises rats for sale, that if given meat into their diet, they become
more aggressive and harder to handle.  So if one has children, and want's
to reduce the chance of their child being bitten, then to stick with an
all veggie diet.  She said this is the same for iguanas.
