Found a useful book: "The Corinne T. Netzer Encyclopedia of Food
Values".

Sometimes, when I wonder how much of some vitamin or mineral or whatever
a certain food has on the paleo diet, it's hard to tell, because nothing
I eat comes in a box or baggie with the information on it. So this book
comes in handy. Also www.dole5aday.com has lots of info on fruits and
vegetables, another useful source. I thought I'd point these out. Does
anyone else know other good sources for vitamin, mineral,
carbohydrates/proteins/fats, and so on? Especially a source for the
various amounts of omega-3 vs. omega-6 information. Also, a cheap place
to get buffalo would help.

Ah -- one more thing. I grill most of my meat. I was wondering what
effect grilling meat has on its fat content. I've searched the web, but
found nothing. I even did some measurements with my little electric
grill (40-70% of a burger pattie's fat comes out of it when it is
grilled to medium). Anyone have more information?

Erik
