Mary,

One thing I hated about almost all other diets was that I was supposed
to weigh things, and look up values (fat or carbs or calories, ad
nauseum). One of the attractions of a meat-based diet, and, ultimately,
a paleo diet, is that I can eat what I want (within a limited range of
food), eat til satiety, and not worry about it. So, I don't really
know how many carbs I eat. On good days, close to none. On most days,
less than 20, I would guess. Some days -- mexican food days :) -- the
corn tortillas probably push me past 100 carbs.

I don't get a racing heart. When I started this diet, at 370 lbs, my
resting heart rate was an amazing 133 beats per minute. This morning,
it checked out at 77 beats per minute. I attribute this to daily
racquetball sessions and some walking/running.

I have experienced, lately, some incongruous bouts of anger. I
attributed that to other sources, but a post here recently makes me
wonder if it could be diet related.
