Thank you Tom, Chevere, and Theola for your thoughts on going cold
turkey, no pun intended, or having some rice on occassion. I think my
cholesterol is about average, and have eaten plenty of saturated fats
during the past year as Sally Fallon's "Nourishing Traditions" became my
guide for a few months, and I believed that saturated fats were good for
me until very recently. I ate a lot of cashews and almonds, since
learning of the Paleodiet, in an effort to replace the bread, and just
learned, from the book, "Paleodiet," that that wasn't a good idea. Gum
may prove helpful, but fresh fish and stew cuts of meat will be a treat,
and that should help me get over not eating bread, which I'm now
convinced is a very bad food. Peanuts are bad too, amazing!
