Given the results you've been getting, I wouldn't suggest making
the change either.  If it ain't broke, etc.  And I have no
rational explanation for why this should work as well as it does.
And of course, if you just skip the potatoes, rice, and butter,
the Anchell diet *is* a version of Neanderthin.

It's much more restrictive than Atkins the food choices allowed,
but somewhat less restrictive in terms of carbs.
