I read the account of a sioux telling how they used to capture a wild horse
they liked .to get.
one man ( with some pemmican in the pocket )just walked behind it making
the horse run out of reach everytime he came too close and this patiently
for days untill the horse surrendered and let itself being touched. They
knew that in the plain a fleating wild animal is making a curve toward the
left so they just took the short cut everytime the horse runned far out of
sight.
