Todd, I seem to remember reading something about that too,  but a brief
search for it yielded nothing. If anyone does find this paper,  I would love to
read it, too.

Meanwhile, I did turn up this information, which, while not the  work you are
looking for, is at least leaning in that direction.

Does anyone have the research, published within the last 4 or  5 years,
