They're all wrong.
Debating over incomplete knowledge, no conclusion can ever be 
reached. It's like debating pneumonia prior to identifying bacteria.
So it comes to opinion, a game in which persistence wins. And the 
most persistent are those whose pay depends upon it. Academics get 
paid if they fight or not. But they can get a lot of bonus by singing 
for their supper.
