What level of protein does your physician consider "adequate"?
And if he limits protein, is that because, as Gerald Reaven argues, protein,
when broken down into amino acids, raises insulin levels?
(I'm curious if the wider scientific community accepts that protein raises
insulin, or is this still controversial?)
Apologies if this point has already been thrashed out on this list.
