While I think most of use would disagree about the
placement of grains in his pyramid, I'm not so sure
the placement of fruits/veggies is incorrect. Keeping
in mind that the FDA's pyramid is based on "servings"
rather than caloric distribution, and considering
that, in general, fruits/veggies are much less
calorically dense than meats and nuts, their placement
at the base may make sense. Any thoughts?
