Hi,

I can tell you why sea weeds etc. were not on that Healing Crow list..
since research has shown even small amounts of caragheenan/carrageenan
can cause IBD/IBS in some people. It seems to be indigestible for some.

Its true some sea dwellers probably ate sea vegetables, though that
would also be a small percentage of the human population, ruling out
most races which have never seen a sea vegetable (such as mountain
dwellers, central europe, africa, etc.)

Theoretically though, you're right, apart from the above, they don't
seem to have any anti-paleo attributes.

I am curious as to why you list the sea vegetables agar agar and
caragheenan
under the heading grain and disallowed foods.  Sea vegetables are very
primitive foods.  They are not high in starch or carbs.
