I've been under the assumption that humans can digest human milk at any
stage in life. I've not seen in this thread a discussion of the
nutritional differences between human milk and cow's milk. (Sorry if I
missed it). What about the idea that since we are not cows, we cannot
properly digest cow's milk. The inability to handle cow's milk isn't
simply a function of a growing out of the ability to digest milk, but a
function of the composition of cow's milk itself.

Any thoughts on this?
