You boil it.  Traditionaly in Cuban dishes you boil it like a potato, strain
it, then serve it with some oil, crushed fresh garlic, lemon juice and salt
sprinkled over it.  It's very starchy, I don't eat starches anymore but it
tastes very mild,  Delish!..I grew up eatin' that as a kid.  Don't eat much
Cuban food anymore these days, but if you should happen to have a restaurant
in your city, check it out and try it.  It's sometimes called Casava in
English on the menus.
