I'm appealing to you guys. 

The posts criticizing the Atkins' diet are filled with "impressions" and "opinions" all of which remain unsupported by any evidence. You're treating Atkins with the same kind of prejudice that people treat those of us doing alternatives-- you form a negative opinion before finding the true facts. A theory about kidney damage doesn't make it a fact.

Please, please, please provide some documentation of where the actual Atkins Diet has harmed someone. I asked for this before and only got more "I heard that..." All these innuendoes remain rumors until demonstrated otherwise. If you care enough to have a strong opinion, don't you care enough to find out where it came from? Or what it's based on?
