Very likely wormwood which can cause brain damage. It is extremely bitter
and we use it in Sweden for "snaps" that is 40% alcohol to eat with
marinated heering and other lovely things. The plant is not to be eaten "of
the stem"! Remember that all plants are poisonous and some are very
poisonous! It takes a lot of experience to handle poisonous plants.
