I have heard the book is great--yet another out-of-print wonder which I
probably won't ever purchase...

You still haven't responded specifically to Todd's idea that lactose
tolerance is also an example of neoteny--or did I miss it?

Also, what difference does it make whether we are or aren't direct
decendents of Neanderthals or CroMagnon? I can't see that any of the basic
tenets of your book would be negated if it were called CroMagnonThin. What
am I missing?
