Also, commercially prepared peanuts often have aflatoxins.


for me there is no problem eating legumes when coming strait from the garden
in their green state . the problem arise with dry grains i think it is also
okay to eat sprouted legumes seeds ( lentils,  chick peas especially )
despite i don't do it anymore for over 10 years .
also there is some legumes fruit i eat like carob or cassia ( medicinal )
the pulp of the fruits are delicious but the seeds are not eaten .

cashews are completelly edible raw only the inedible shell contain a pockets
of toxic oil so they are difficult to open whithout taking the risk to burn
your skin .they also produce one nut per fruit and are not abondant so when
it comes to eat shelled bleached cashews who are said to be raw ( but in
fact are not ) they not only taste awfull in comparaison with the really raw
ones but are undigestible in quantity.
