Then again, you could argue that HGs probably had periods where they didn't
have food for a few days.  This could be built into our program as a period
of cleansing as fasting proponents claim.  I do occasional fasts, usually
only single day but sometimes up to 3.  It is not at all hard.

I would be interested to know of any hard evidence either for or against.
