This is a compilation of dozens of studies that have
been done in rats and humans on the effects of a
low-carb diet. It sorts them into categories and
includes the reference, abstract, and in many cases a
"translation into english" of the abstract.

In particular, under the heading "Effects of Combining
Low-Carb with Starvation" there are several studies
where the participants, under severe low-carb calorie
restriction, were found to lose very little muscle.
