Where C is for conceal the intent
A is for quote the highest authority possible (Mother, in the case of 
young soldiers)
R is for repetition
T is for the appearance of Truth.

This is still used everywhere by anyone who wishes to change anyone's 
mind. Probably invented by the biblical serpent in the Adam & Eve story;
